Cowes Week, Yachts, Luxury Tents……….

Cowes Week is the largest and longest-running sailing regatta in the world, it’s been held each year since 1826, with around 1,000 yachts and 8,500 sailors. Highlights this year include the UK leg of the iShares cup and the Artemis Challenge, a race around the island.

Cowes, a small town, on the Isle of Wright is the home of yachting in the UK. Races start from 10am and you can get a good view from along the Green towards Egypt Point.

But where to stay? Why camping of course…..

Camp Kerala have shikar tents made by the Maharaja of Jodhpurs’ tent makers, replicas of those used on hunting trips. Each tent is for two and is filled with original Rajastani furniture, sumptuous duck down duvets, crisp, white Egyptian cotton sheets and pillows.

The cost for two people to stay at Camp Kerala for the Cowes Week 08 experience on 2-9 August will be £2,600 plus vat for the 8 day Regatta Stay including accommodation.
